Worship and weekly news – April 4, 2022

posted in: News, Worship | 0

Hello faith family! Sunday is the Fifth Sunday in Lent – April 3, 2022, Year A. Services are held in-person with precautions and online via our YouTube channel. See the Worship Schedule below. Please do not hesitate to contact the office or Fr. Howie with any questions or concerns about these options. We are listening to the experts and considering how to best keep our faith family safe during this pandemic.

See the St. Thomas’s Carpenter’s Helper newsletter for news and events information for this week. You won’t want to miss a new outreach to Ukraine opportunity. Also, our sexton Kenneth shares some deep thoughts about our crocus, relating to the current crisis.

I’m going to make another plea here – we need virtual greeters. Please consider volunteering for one Sunday, and see how it goes. I’ll sign up with you and we can do it together! I have the “script” laminated in the office, and I can also email it to you. Please let Philippa or myself know if you’d be willing to try it out for one week. Our online family is important; join me in spreading God’s love all around!

Other Parish Events:

In this strange pandemic time, the church is aware that some of its members are struggling to make ends meet. If you are in this situation, please let the clergy know of your needs, pray for the church, and feel no guilt about your giving. But if you are able to give, options for giving include mailing a check to your church or online giving.

If you have anything to add to the Parish calendar or the Carpenter’s Helper newsletter, please email the office at StThomassOffice@googlegroups.com.

To see all events or news, visit our website, check FaceBook, or check out the posted events on the board next to the name tag station. Recent Newsletters, Sermons, or Announcements are also available.

Regardless of whether we are together in-person or virtually, we are connected by the Holy Spirit:  Always together; never apart…maybe in distance, but never in heart.

Kind Regards,
Cana Hartman, Parish Administrator
