WORSHIP
About our worship
We use the Book of Common Prayer to guide us through worship, special holy days, sacraments such as baptism and marriage, and funerals.
The Lectionary is the three-year cycle of Scripture readings that we use throughout the church year, which begins with the first Sunday of Advent.
The Holy Eucharist is a central part of worship at St Thomas’ and is celebrated at both weekend services and at noon on Wednesdays. Christians of all ages are invited to receive Communion.

About worship in the Episcopal Church
The mission of The Episcopal Church, as stated in the Book of Common Prayer’s catechism, is “to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ.” In step with that mission, we follow Jesus into loving, liberating, and life-giving relationships with God, with each other, and with the earth.
The Episcopal Church is ready to meet you where you are. There is much spirit-filled activity going on, and many opportunities for growth in your life in Christ. For more information about the Episcopal Church and its mission in Delaware, the United States, and the world, please visit these links:
