Amish is the author of three books of poetry, most recently "FuturePanic" which was out in November of 2021. He has an MFA from Brown, a PhD from Illinois State, and is currently a post doctoral researcher in the Department of English at the University of Delaware. He is in progress on his first scholarly book "A Wing in a Crumbling Mansion", on the field of poetry's relationship to academia.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, St. Thomas’s is alive and well. We are worshiping via live streaming on YouTube (See our YouTube Channel and hit Subscribe!), and in person with precautions. The full-text bulletins for our services can be found on our website, and by email request.
We also continue to respond to the needs of the Newark community through our collaboration with the Newark Empowerment Center and others. Those who would like to support our work may do so by going to our “Giving to St Thomas’s” page. Our prayers are with all those who are ill, all who are caring for them, and all who are striving to hear the voice of God in these challenging times. May God bless you and keep you, now and always.

| Sunday, February 20 10:15 AM – 11:15 AM | Children's MinistryALL God's Children are Welcome to join in our children's Sunday School. Weather permitting, we are meeting in the courtyard in front of the church; and, if we are inside, we will meet in the undercroft. All participants are required to wear masks, and we observe social distancing and precautions.
Every month, the last Sunday of the month is Family Church Sunday. On these days, children attend worship with their families, there is no regular Sunday School prior to the service, and ALL are encouraged to participate: ushering, reading, hospitality, etc.
