Compline is a simple office including a confession of sins, one or more psalms, a short reading from scripture, versicles and responses, the Lord’s Prayer, collects which ask for God’s protection during the night to come, and the canticle Nunc dimittis. A hymn for the evening may follow the short reading from scripture. The collects may be followed by a time of silence, along with free intercessions and thanksgivings.⁠

The Blue Hen Bounty is open to college students who are food insecure and cannot provide ample nutrition for themselves, please come to the student food closet any Thursday from 2-5 p.m. at St. Thomas's Parish located at 276 S. College Ave. (directly across from Student Health).

We have collected many donated food products that we will gladly share with those students in need. All that we ask is you bring your student ID for verification and then we will provide you with whatever amount of food you are in need of.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, St. Thomas’s is alive and well. We are worshiping via live streaming on YouTube (See our YouTube Channel and hit Subscribe!). The full-text bulletins for our services can be found on our website, and by email request. We also continue to respond to the needs of the Newark community through our collaboration with the Newark Empowerment Center and others.
