Holy Eucharist Rite I - Palm Sunday

All are welcome. St. Thomas’s is a diverse community of young and old, different races, languages, and nationalities, cradle Episcopalians and those new to our tradition. We are conservative and liberal, single and married and partnered, socially active, spiritually reflective, deeply committed to being the Gospel in our community, our diocese, and our world. Our parish strives to be a safe and inclusive community of worship that welcomes everyone as a child of God, and values everyone’s ministry in the Church and the world.

Our mission statement: Nourished at Christ’s table and stepping forward in faith, we are instruments of God’s love, serving our parish family, the University of Delaware, our community, and God’s creation.

Youth Confirmation

Meets in the Undercroft. All youth in 7th and 8th grade or who are at least 12 years of age are invited to join the 2018 Confirmation Class for a spirit-filled journey centered around worship, learning, service, witness and fellowship. There will be loads of prayerful dialogue, laughter and fun, too! Confirmation completes our baptism and is the sacramental rite in which we express a mature commitment to Christ, culminating with the laying on of hands by the bishop. Youth Confirmation classes are held on Sundays at 9 – 10:15 a.m. from Sept. to May, and include a pilgrimage to The Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City.
