2 Saints Readers: The Language of God by Dr Francis Collins

LIVE via Zoom- contact the office for your Zoom link

Beginning on Tuesday, October 19, from 10 to 11 am by Zoom, Fr. Howie will lead us in discussion of The Language of God by Dr. Francis S. Collins, Director of NIH and head of the genome project. The secondary title of this fascinating 2006 book is A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief.

Dr. Collins has written this book for ordinary laymen (and lay-women).
Anyone can join these discussions, not just those who have been a part of the Two Saints Readers in the past, and certainly not just scientists! Did you take high school chemistry? Did you teach physics — or English literature? Did you avoid science subjects like the plague? You still could be richly fed by what Dr. Collins has written as his evidence for belief. Please join us on October 19 at 10 am, and on subsequent Tuesdays

UD Ballroom Dancers- public class

Meets in the Great Hall

Classes are $15 for students and $35 for non-students (for the whole four-week session).

What if I have no dance experience?
Don't worry, most people are beginners. We tailor each class to fit the level of the participants.

What do I wear?
Any comfortable clothing will do. We do ask that you wear comfortable shoes that are securely attached to your feet. Anything that has a tendency to slip off is potentially dangerous. For women, heels are alright if you are comfortable in them, but under 3" is preferred. If you don't feel comfortable wearing heels, flats or sneakers are fine.

How do I register for a public class?
Just show up 10 to 15 minutes early for the first class of the session. The beginning of each session can be found on the calendar. We will ask you to submit your payment and fill out a short contact information sheet for our records in case of emergency cancellations.

If I come with a partner will I be dancing with him/her the entire time?
We encourage rotation of partners during class because it helps the learning process; however, it is not required.
Meets in the Great Hall.

A Service of Intercession with Holy Eucharist

Please join us to pray for the needs of our hearts, the parish, and the world. We are worshiping via live streaming on YouTube.

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people.  Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.- 1 Timothy 2:1
