Wednesday, May 15 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM	Serenity at Sunrise- AA Meeting Meets in the Classroom. St. Thomas’s provides hospitality to six AA/12 Step Groups. Serenity at Sunrise is an apt name for this group as they meet at the beginning of the day, 6:30 a.m. to be exact. Under the AA umbrella are groups for teens and family members of the addicted to help them in supporting their loved one’s sobriety. Alcoholic Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem. Wednesday, May 15 8:00 PM – 9:30 PM	Young Adult AA Meeting - South College Speakers Meets in the Great Hall. South College Speakers is an AA meeting for young people who are battling alcohol addiction. Alcoholics Anonymous is an international mutual aid fellowship whose stated purpose is to enable its members to "stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety." It was founded in 1935 by Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob Smith in Akron, Ohio. With other early members, Bill Wilson and Bob Smith developed AA's Twelve Step program of spiritual and character development. AA's initial Twelve Traditions were introduced in 1946 to help the fellowship be stable and unified while disengaged from "outside issues" and influences. Thursday, May 16 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM	Yoga for beginners Have you ever thought about trying yoga? Starting Tuesday, January 15 there will be a “Yoga for Beginners Class” meeting at St. Thomas’s. The class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the Great Hall. There is a $10.00 drop in fee.
