Holy Eucharist

All are welcome. St. Thomas’s is a diverse community of young and old, different races, languages, and nationalities, cradle Episcopalians and those new to our tradition. We are conservative and liberal, single and married and partnered, socially active, spiritually reflective, deeply committed to being the Gospel in our community, our diocese, and our world. Our parish strives to be a safe and inclusive community of worship that welcomes everyone as a child of God, and values everyone’s ministry in the Church and the world.

Our mission statement: Nourished at Christ’s table and stepping forward in faith, we are instruments of God’s love, serving our parish family, the University of Delaware, our community, and God’s creation.

Adult Education

Beginning April 2nd, the Adult Education group will begin exploring the book and movie, THE SHACK. For those who have not read the book, we don’t want to spoil the story, so suffice to say this is a family tragedy with unending grief until God becomes part of the story.

In a world where religion seems to grow increasingly irrelevant, THE SHACK wrestles with the timeless question: Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain? The answer Mack gets will astound you and perhaps transform you as much as it did him. You’ll want everyone you know to read this book.

The book can be purchased through Barnes & Noble The Shack or Amazon The Shack [click on the links to take you to the sites].

Please join us at 9:15 a.m. in the Parlor on any Sunday. For further information, contact Larry Duggan at lgjd@udel.edu or Ronnie Wilbur at vfwilbur@gmail.com.
