St. Thomas’s provides hospitality to six AA/12 Step Groups.
Serenity at Sunrise is an apt name for this group as they meet at the beginning of the day, 6:30 a.m. to be exact. Under the AA umbrella are groups for teens and family members of the addicted to help them in supporting their loved one’s sobriety. Alcoholic Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem. | Thursday, August 29 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Blue Hen Bounty food pantry for studentsif you or anyone you know is food insecure and cannot provide ample nutrition for themselves, please come to the student food closet any Wednesday from 4-5 p.m. at St. Thomas's Parish located at 276 S. College Ave. (directly across from Student Health).
We have collected many donated food products that we will hand out to those students in need. All that we ask is you bring your student ID for verification and then we will provide you with whatever amount of food you are in need of.
