Serenity at Sunrise- AA Meeting

Meets in the Classroom.

St. Thomas’s provides hospitality to six AA/12 Step Groups.

Serenity at Sunrise is an apt name for this group as they meet at the beginning of the day, 6:30 a.m. to be exact. Under the AA umbrella are groups for teens and family members of the addicted to help them in supporting their loved one’s sobriety. Alcoholic Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.

Yoga for beginners

Have you ever thought about trying yoga? Starting Tuesday, January 15 there will be a “Yoga for Beginners Class” meeting at St. Thomas’s. The class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the Great Hall. There is a $10.00 drop in fee.
