Holy Eucharist

All are welcome. St. Thomas’s is a diverse community of young and old, different races, languages, and nationalities, cradle Episcopalians and those new to our tradition. We are conservative and liberal, single and married and partnered, socially active, spiritually reflective, deeply committed to being the Gospel in our community, our diocese, and our world. Our parish strives to be a safe and inclusive community of worship that welcomes everyone as a child of God, and values everyone’s ministry in the Church and the world.

Our mission statement: Nourished at Christ’s table and stepping forward in faith, we are instruments of God’s love, serving our parish family, the University of Delaware, our community, and God’s creation.

Adult Education

The adult education class is discussing the first autobiography ever written in English, The Book of Margery Kempe, written by Margery Kempe (c. 1372-after 1438). Although it is an autobiography, it focuses largely on her fantastic spiritual life and has much to fascinate modern readers. We will be reading the Penguin translation by B. Windeatt, which is readily available through Amazon. After discussion of Margery the class will work with Revelations of Divine Love by Julian of Norwich (1342-1416). Please join us at 9:15 a.m. in the Parlor on any Sunday. For further information, contact Larry Duggan at lgjd@udel.edu or Ronnie Wilbur at vfwilbur@gmail.com.
