We also continue to respond to the needs of the Newark community through our collaboration with the Newark Empowerment Center and others. The Blue Hen Bounty is open to college students who are food insecure and cannot provide ample nutrition for themselves, please come to the student food closet any Thursday from 2-5 p.m. at St. Thomas's Parish located at 276 S. College Ave. (directly across from Student Health).

We have collected many donated food products that we will gladly share with those students in need. All that we ask is you bring your student ID for verification and then we will provide you with whatever amount of food you are in need of.

If you have any questions or cannot make the designated time and would like to set up an appointment, please contact the church office at (302) 368-4644. Please help us spread the word!

This four-session course will cover the theologies of

Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, and Judaism,

using a comparison with Christianity as a way of

pulling the threads together.

Our goal will be to see how the major faith traditions

approach the same questions- creation, sin, eternity,

and the righteous life.

Come learn what we have in common, how we see the world,

and maybe even what others can

private meeting

The monthly property committee is meeting by phone or Zoom on usually the first Thursday of the month at noon. The Property Ministry sees to the upkeep and maintenance of our building and grounds. Members work on projects as complex as replacing the roof to as simple as changing a light bulb. This group also coordinates the annual parish clean up. Our grounds are maintained and beautified by volunteers who mow the lawn or tend to the gardens.Contact Amy Keach for the Zoom link for the meetings as it changes each month.
